Calling for a handgun ban isn’t going to make people forget that last week you were talking about cutting the police budget as part of your hysterical ranting about all the terrible things that will happen if we don’t do things your way when it comes to raising taxes.
The Ontario Liberals trotted out their provincial anti-gun opportunist Attorney-General Michael Bryant in front of the cameras to renew his call for a total ban on handguns, in honor of the child was was shot. He said all the right things for liberals, like, you know, guns kill. Therefore, ban them. Next. It was so complex.
Actually it was manifestly full of neat big-government clamping down on the citizenry stuff. State Police coming to our houses and taking our property away-type stuff. You know, liberal jibber-jabber.
I personally think everyone who wants a gun should have a gun. And I think liberals like Michael Bryant who want to advertise their disdain for guns might consider sticking one of these on their front doors, which if they were handed out to citizens by their benevolent liberal government (who looks after all of us because we are of course too stoopid), I’m sure they would:

But I would advise against deploying that sticker, in the strongest possible way.
