Alexandre Trudeau, known as “Sasha”, was named after a Soviet diplomatic pal of his Father Pierre during the Soviet communist regime and the cold war.
Obviously the far-left socialism-reliant CBC recognizes the young Trudeau’s expertise in sports, he being a famous Olympic champion in synchronized swimming and pole vaulting. No of course I’m kidding. He’s an Olympic athlete and expert in much the same way as I am. By which I mean, give me a large, personal break.
But the CBC doesn’t care about that. They obviously care about something else.
For example, in August 2006 Sasha Trudeau wrote an article praising the communist dictator Fidel Castro’s Cuba. Similarly, his dad was a pal of the communist dictator, and the communist human-rights abominator Fidel Castro was even a pall bearer at Pierre Trudeau’s funeral.
Of course, being a news freak and a guy who’s up on everything going on today, I had absolutely no clue what in tarnation the son of Pierre was up to nowadays, so I looked him up on Wikipedia. And I swear, this is what I found:
“Currently, Trudeau is President and Chief Producer at Hustler as well as a contributing editor at
Dogshit
magazine. He and girlfriend Zoë Bedos became the parents of a son, Fidel-Castro Emmanuel Trudeau, on December 22, 2006.”
I think somebody messed with it. I think it was supposed to say:
“Currently, Trudeau is President and Chief Producer at Jujufilms as well as a contributing editor at Maclean‘s magazine. He and girlfriend Zoë Bedos became the parents of a son, Pierre-Emmanuel Trudeau, on December 22, 2006.”
I swear I didn’t do it. But man it’s funny.
And actually, according to the CBC article, Sasha is the CBC’s Olympics expert not on sports but on Beijing architecture and infrastructure. Again that’s Beijing architecture and infrastructure. Because that’s his other expertise. Like mine is planetary alignment and chemical cosmology.
Oh yeah and the Liberal Party is running out of cash and can’t even afford to fight an election, but my blog entry about that is irrelevant in light of this story. Snarf.
