Liberals’ media 4-banger of hate and loathing

Here’s the headline in the Vancouver Sun—not on page E-94, but on the front page:

“Rich U.S. Christian-right affiliate sets up in Ottawa”

They must have been shaking with rage as they typeset this headline on their old media typewriter machines.

(1) Rich.  (2) U.S.  (3) Christian.  (4) right.

Holy smokes, batman!  (Or, at least, “wow, lotsa smoke”, batman.)

And then of course the words “sets up” must have really put them over the top.

The story reads like a warning to Canadians:

The cash-rich Canadian affiliate of a powerful American Christianright group is launching a major expansion in Canada aimed at influencing Parliament Hill debate and tapping the pockets of Bay Street millionaires.

Focus on the Family (Canada) is establishing a nine-person Ottawa office, expected to be headed by a former evangelical Christian MP, lawyer or policy expert, to advance the group’s public-policy agenda.

It will be the largest presence of any social-conservative organization in Ottawa, according to other so-called family values organizations leading the fight against abortion and gay marriage.

Just for future reference—you know, in case you’re one of the left-wing extremist homosexual zealot lobbyists currently threatening to bring down the entire Christian religion by killing their tax-free status, the reporter, Peter O’Neil (who if I’m not mistaken is on the Sun’s editorial board) informs us:

Focus, because of its designation as a charitable organization by the Canadian Revenue Agency, is in effect supported by Canadian taxpayers because it can issue tax receipts for contributors.

No word on the Canadian or U.S. “atheist-left” plans other than to continue as normal—running Canada into the ground from their megaplexes scattered throughout the land, many of them taxpayer-funded, such as the state-run CBC, and others that are funded by taxpayers through tax deductible union dues—such as from public-sector union dues— and myriad other sponsorship schemes. All those atheist-left organizations are far, far richer.  And many are American or worse—they’re “globalizationed”.  Evil sometimes, helpful other times.  That’s liberal!
