Regular readers know I call the various facets of our big, big government “the state-run CBC division of the Liberal Party”, the “Supreme Court of Canada division of the Liberal Party”, the “Senate division of the Liberal Party” and now, I guess I might just start having to call “Canada” another division of the Liberal Party.
It seems that that’s exactly how they look at it anyway. They can’t even launch an ethics investigation—and ETHICS investigation—without it being done by a Liberal-friendly law firm. (Hat tip to OntheRight from our discussion forums)
ETHICS WATCHDOG ADMITS BOTCHING PROBE ON SGRO
OTTAWA – Ethics Commissioner Bernard Shapiro admitted yesterday the process he used to hire a Liberal-connected law firm to investigate a complaint against Judy Sgro, the former immigration minister, was inappropriate.
