Liberals appoint a new lieutenant-governor in troubled Alberta division of Party

I’ve been waiting to find out who the Liberals were going to appoint to be the titular head of their Party’s troublingly conservative-leaning Alberta division after the recent death of the great lieutenant-governor Lois Hole.  (And for you liberals, “titular head” isn’t another nipple-piercing opportunity, sorry.)

I was ready for the Liberal connection, it being a Liberal appointment.  Would it be someone from the CBC division of the Liberal Party?  From the Supreme Court division of the Liberal Party?  A past Liberal politician/fund-raiser has-been?

And then whadyaknow, I found the link:  “More recently, [Norman L. Kwong] was made a member of the Order of Canada in 1988 and has served as national chairman of the Canadian Consultative Council on Multiculturalism”.  So says the liberal Globe and Mail in their article about it.  (My bolding).

Ah yes.  One of the proponents of one of the bastions of liberal-left lunacy, Canada’s idiotic multiculturalism edict and policy.

I don’t mean to mock the good Mr. Kwong personally at all.  He served as Honorary Chairman of the Easter Seal Campaign, was a star athlete in the good old days of sports, and I’m sure he’s a fine Canadian.  It’s just the liberal political/philosophical connection that I was hunting for, and easily found.

The Liberal Party has to get liberals into every minute crack and crevice of Canadian society.  That’s how you turn a nation into, well, any political stripe you want to turn them into—in this case “liberal”.
