I’m really enjoying the constant proof that the old mainstream liberal media has learned absolutely nothing, and hasn’t changed its tune even one iota, despite their constantly and with more and more regularity being revealed for the hideously biased liberal hacks that they are.
Yesterday, regarding the Katrina rescue efforts, President Bush accepted responsibility for the federal government’s failures in dealing with the Katrina rescue effort. The federal government buck stops with him. He accepted responsibility for that. That’s what great leaders do.
Is he praised for that? Do they move on and demand the same from the people who were actually more directly responsible? Of course not, silly!
Nearly every media story spins this as Bush accepting blame for the both the hurricane itself, and then the entire mess which followed.
I haven’t seen or heard the word “nature”, nor the names “Mayor Ray Nagin” or “Governor Blanco” for days—especially with the word “Democratic” in front of those names, nor the word “responsibility” following those names.
It’s funny, yet serious.
