Liberal media carries the water for Democrats; circle the wagons around Republicans

Hillary and Bill are wonderful… wonderful!  Did we say wonderful?  And that Barrack Obama is nothing short of a “rock star” (and we all know how valuable they are to our progressive society).  John Edwards (the Breck girl) is, well, first a victim of Ann Coulter’s wrath, but mostly a defender of the poor despite his $1200 hair cut and 80 million-dollar bungalow built in clear-cut acres of once forested land.

As Republican Fred Thompson appears set to announce his nomination for president, the liberals and their media are establishing a foothold using method 855:  a preemptive slamming.  He must be a good candidate!

Blogger Kathryn Jean Lopez asks about the AP news wire service: “Is AP a Wire Service or a Hit Service?”

One might ask if the ABC network is AP’s accomplice.  Here’s their hit piece yesterday.

The headline only sets the tone.  The opening lines establish the melody:

“Fred Thompson’s easygoing, no-nonsense style is clearly his strength and undoubtedly has helped him soar in presidential polls. It may only get him so far. Sooner or later, the all-but-declared candidate will have to answer the question: What else do you offer?” …

The liberals’ Washington Post takes the pass from ABC and AP, as they try to imply with their headline that Republican Mitt Romney (damn Christian) was caught with his pants down in a hotel room (which of course is more in line with their Bill Clinton than Mitt Romney’s style) in this AP hit piece

(Thanks to Exile for that one)

But the Canadian media takes the cake every time.  They never, ever mention any Republican candidate unless it’s to report something awful or it’s framed in a totally deceitful manner.  All Canadians need to know, in their agenda, is Hillary, Bill, Al, and Barrack. And Michael Moore.  And all the Democrats. And how yummy they all are.
