Liberal media headline we should fully expect to read way more often as a direct result of all the “progressive” leadership: Study: One-Fourth Of NYC Residents Have Herpes.
It reminds me of my recent March blog entry about a story that was only quietly reported in the liberals’ media: ”1 in 4 young girls now sexually diseased. How’s it working out, liberal secular-progressives?”.
In this case, almost on cue from liberal stage hands at stage left, the article’s author reflexively, immediately, abandons any notion of suggesting that maybe people might want to try to stop fornicating like wild monkeys, and maybe employ that crazy but 100% effective “abstinence” miracle, or that “get married” thing, or even the “remain monogamous” concepts that all the sane people and nutty Christians (from the “Christian Right”!) are always on about. But instead he or she chooses to go right for the condom info —literally with the very first words (even though condoms don’t even remotely stop many STDs).
NEW YORK (CBS) ― Now might be the time for New Yorkers to take advantage of the free condom campaign the city promotes. A new study by the city’s Health Department found more than a quarter of adult residents are infected with the herpes virus.

Clarifying that last sentence, conveniently added by the CBS News authors: Apparently the state now issues free condoms to Americans. How long before liberals and other “progressives” in Canada demand free state-run “Insite”-style fornication drop-in (and “early learning” —wink!) centers to enable safe, clean wild-monkey sex, and manage the diseases from a “harm-reduction” standpoint? I suppose they could situate them right beside the abortion mills to cut down on the travel and therefore the “man-made global warming” greenhouse gas emissions.
