The decision on whether to lift the Canadian state-sanctioned ban on Fox News Channel being broadcast in Canada by the Liberal Party state-censors has already been made and for whatever reason, the arrogant elitist liberals in Ottawa have been sitting on it. I suspect they were awaiting the end of the U.S. election so as to not help the conservative cause among Republican Americans living and traveling in Canada. Now they will wait until the end of the month to make it appear as though the election had nothing to do with it.
The information was obtained through “access to information” laws because apparently, the state censors appointed by the Liberal Party elitists in Ottawa are so arrogant that they wouldn’t willingly share the information with the lowly citizens—and the papers provided by the state censors were heavily censored—blacked-out in sections as if it were a war-time, top-secret project in deciding if Fox News Channel were a clandestine evil right-wing plot against Canada rather than (by far) the most popular cable news channel in the United States and much of the rest of the world.
The papers included a discussion about whether to impose restrictions on its content in the way that al-Jazeera has had restrictions imposed on its content when that channel was approved months ago.
The only people who can watch Fox News in Canada now are those with illegal satellite hookups or access to Parliament’s internal television system.
