The two major Vancouver papers (both liberal, and both owned by liberal-friendly Canwest Global) in liberal-leftist Vancouver endorsed the Stephen Harper Conservative Party and hope that they —not the liberal-leftists— will win on Monday.
The Vancouver Sun and The Province both endorse Conservative victory on Monday. They hope that the leftists lose. In fact their main thrust is to ensure that the Liberals lose —not just that the Conservatives deserve to win.
So far as I can tell, the biggest mainstream media to not endorse the Stephen Harper Conservatives is the state-run media the CBC; and the leftist Toronto Star. I think both should be avoided as news and entertainment sources, as should all left-wing fruitcake media.
I liked the front page of the Vancouver Sun this morning. The “junk that orbits Earth” is liberals. (OK that’s just my reading of it).
