You know what makes me laugh, Joel? The Liberals say that the people of Canada don’t want an election at Christmas. Before, they had said that the Canadians don’t want to go to the polls in the summer…. and who in their right mind would want to trudge through the snow of Jan/Feb to vote? And an election in the fall???  well…  we might miss the beautiful colours of the leaves turning.  If Ontario doesn’t smarten up this time and put the Conservatives in, even if it’s just to spank the Liberals, I’m afraid I want to can elections completely to save the money and agony… just crown Paul Martin king and bring a monarchy in. I’m really getting fed up at people who believe everything they say.

I agree completely, and I think one of the most important things is to make feelings and views like yours publicly known.  Conservatives can no longer afford to keep it ‘between us”.  That’s why I started the ProudToBeCanadian web site and big parts of it are a public forum as well as the ability to drop comments in the blog section.  And of course the ability to easily send posts by email to your friends using the “Send to a Friend” feature.

We need to use what’s available now, and scream these things out for all to hear.  Doing this has the added benefit of making like-minded people realize they’re not alone and that many others like us are out there—then the movement feeds on itself and grows! 

I hope you post those comments like these in the forum or as a comment in the blog section!
