THE WORLD IS(n’t) BURNING!!! One of my favorite news sites, HumanProgress.org, always has the goods. The good news, that is. Most of their articles imply the likes of, “you know how the news media says [this or that dismal or dire thing]? Well actually, that’s wrong…”. They take out the fake and often alarmist “news” trash, and present the actual, and most often actually positive, facts. Here’s an example: Forest fires are literally burning BC to the ground! And the world is burning ahhhh! That’s what we hear. Now here’s the fact: that’s incorrect. See chart at left and click it for full size. FEEL THE BURN, freak-out artists and alarmists!
