I hope he doesn’t bump into the Liberal Frenchman.

It’s a “Canadian value” to ditch the women in Afghanistan as I understand the Canadian left (and their media’s) position.  And so this story about the Taliban kidnapping Christian women volunteers in Afghanistan beats all.  Bring the troops home now!  Before they’re called on to help them!  Oh it’s so obvious.

Eighteen South Koreans have been kidnapped in Afghanistan after Taliban gunmen boarded their bus and took them prisoner on Friday.

A purported Taliban spokesperson said the militant group was investigating why the South Koreans were in Afghanistan and would then decide what to do with them.

For the moment, they were safe and sound, the spokesperson told The Associated Press.

“After our investigation, the Taliban higher authorities will make a decision about their fate,’’ Qari Yousuf Ahmadi told AP, speaking on a satellite phone from an undisclosed location.

The Koreans were in Ghazni province, travelling from Kabul to Kandahar when the bus was boarded, Ali Shah Ahmadzai, the provincial police chief, told AP.

Fifteen of the 18 passengers were women, said Ahmadi.

According to reports, all were Christian members of a South Korean church and were doing volunteer work in Afghanistan, against their government’s urgings.

A bunch of church ladies—women from South Korea—are brave enough to go there and help—while Canada’s left deems it too “hard” and “risky” for our military to take on and demand they come home where it’s safe.

That’s “progressive” Canada today.  Unprincipled wuss central.
