Late Quote Of The Week Award winner

image After a week of great quotes—a couple from the good, gaining-in-the-polls Conservative Party leader Stephen Harper, one from the gaining-in-the-polls deputy leader Peter MacKay, and one from the good Sun Media’s not-actually-a-liberal Greg Weston, our massive team of judges found the coveted ProudToBeCanadian.ca Quote of the Week Award winner at the tail end of the week.  Phew.  And it’s one of our own, columnist Doug Giles.  Double phew.

Go Doug.  Or as the liberals would say:  “You go, girl!” (liberals don’t recognize the difference between males and females, despite Doug’s pretty obviously manly studliness.  In fact, all things, including the beasts, are, apparently, “equal”).

Actually, apparently, he doesn’t need much encouragement to “go”.  Doug Giles is like (our) Ann Coulter only with more caffeine in his tubes.  (And he’s a very much a “man” whereby Ann Coulter is very much a “woman”.)

Our massive judging team laughed aloud reading his latest column, in which every sentence is a

bitch

bastard

person slap to the liberal moonbattery.  (You get extra points for this.)

His latest column, now posted in our Columnist section, is called “PETA is full of SHEETA”.  And it’s true.

It was hard to find the winning quote from within the potpourri of his quotables, but we finally reduced it to this one:

I honestly wish these PETA morons would get as zealous at protecting the rights of an unborn child as they are in trying to stop someone from making an omelet out of whooping crane eggs.

Scramble an eagle egg in Canada, get arrested.  Abort (scramble) an unborn human baby at one week shy of nine months, not really a problem at all, legality-wise.  Liberals are in favor of this.

**Because our ProudToBeCanadian.ca Quote Of The Week Award is becoming so darned popular, from now on, we will announce runners-up and their quotes, in addition to the actual final winners.  Try to remain calm at announcement time, ladies and gentlemen (egalitarian humanoid personages, to liberals).**
