At least they didn’t say “American-style”…
It’s really a rather poorly set-up poll quesion. Many county and state judges are elected in the U.S., but not to the federal courts. They get appointed, for life. And the topical question today in Canada concerns federal judges, not state or county judges.
The U.S. also elects prosecutors by the way.
