HOLLYWOOD, May 10, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Actress Blythe Danner and her daughter, actress Gwenneth Paltrow, have disappointed fans by issuing a letter supporting Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest abortion supplier, and denouncing the “growing movement” to end abortion as “disturbing.”
Yes boys and girls, the moderate and sensitive Gwyneth Paltrow (—and her mommy!) hope that this Mother’s Day, we all focus on that ever-so-moderate abortion technique of birth control; and on those “extremists” conservatives who simply seek to preserve the life of the innocent unborn who can’t speak for themselves. Remember: we’re the “extremists”; the abortion procedure is a “moderate” thing. Got it? Now you’re thinkin’ like a liberal!
But what better way to celebrate motherhood and families than to spend Mother’s Day with your mom chatting about abortion? You’re among the lucky ones! Chat with mom about the fact that you weren’t snuffed out in the womb! What a fun day. Have brunch and talk abortion! As Ronald Reagan said, “I’ve noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born.”
In a Mother’s Day letter of support to abortion mill operator Planned Parenthood, the Hollyweirdos exercised their right of free speech to use Mother’s Day as a platform to remind us all how important it is to have the “right” to snuff out human lives before they are born, rather than put up with the dirty diapers.
They wrote in part:
Our family was recently blessed with the arrival of a new member. As we jump into another round of tiny clothes, new expressions, and dirty diapers, it strikes us yet again: having a child changes your life forever.
Yes having a baby changes your life forever. There’s a headline. That’s why this Mother’s Day, we should all remember the God-given right we have to kill our babies before they are born—it’s topical!
Anything…. ANYTHING to preserve our God-given ability to have wild monkey sex with whomever we want, whenever we want, and for whatever reason we want, as often as we want, without any consequences at all whatsoever. I mean who knew having sex would make babies? When did THAT start?
The Paltrows would love Canada, where we snuff out in excess of 100,000 babies per year—mostly at taxpayer expense, because apparently it’s one of those liberal-left “Canadian values” that the liberal-left keep lecturing us about. There is no law against abortion here. Women here can have an abortion for any reason or no reason at all whatsoever, any time in any pregnancy, even at the last month or week of pregnancy, as many times as they want, no questions asked, at taxpayer expense, in taxpayer-owned and funded hospitals and health centers (it’s “reproductive health”!)
Yes it’s a Mother’s Day paradise here—and moreover a NEARLY-A-Mother’s Day paradise! Maybe we should change the name of Mother’s Day—liberals are all about changing the definition of things—to “Abortion Day”. Otherwise, abortion advocates will feel left out.
Personally, I praise and support mothers and fathers who made the right decision despite the difficulties, the surprises, and the sometimes incredible odds. And on Mother’s Day, I plan to think about how lucky I am to be alive.
