
WOMEN VOTED! And a HUGE turnout, apparently, in the first Iraqi election. And not nearly as much violence and death as expected from the savage terrorists and freedom-haters and democracy-haters.
A member of our discussion forums, BradB, wrote about his own experience in his home town in the Detroit, Michigan area, which was one of the few places outside of Iraq where Iraqi citizens were allowed to vote. (Canada also had voting stations set up in three cities.)
