Ignatieff’s Liberals and his media to get another full briefing on Conservative Hidden Agenda

Surely since Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff managed to convince Kevin Chan to quit the Harper Conservatives as an adviser and to join the Liberals instead, he will be in a good position—better than Scott Brison, Belinda Stronach and countless other insiders before them—to finally reveal the Conservative hidden agenda.  I mean surely, after Chan is absorbed into the Liberal fold, we’ll see the big revelations in the news media — perhaps in a 5-part “Passionate Eye” series on the CBC— and this time, after the failed efforts over many years and the aforementioned countless insiders failed to spill the beans, it will finally mean the end to all the ever so earnest talk in the media and the liberal-left generally of that famous “hidden agenda” of the Conservatives.

…As Lynch’s right-hand man, Chan would presumably have had top secret clearance and access to all government confidential plans.

While secrecy oaths will prohibit him from divulging any confidential information in his new role in the Opposition Leader’s Office, he will take with him an in-depth knowledge of the way government works. Of more particular interest to Liberals, he’ll bring an insider’s view of the Harper regime’s style and modus operandi

CTV.ca story

(Actually, as I’ve pointed out before, the Liberals and their media and the left generally aren’t worried about a Conservative “hidden agenda”, they’re worried about the actual agenda of the Conservatives not being hidden—being made too public—thus revealing that’s it good, positive, altruistic rather than nefarious, and will benefit our country.  Therefore, rather than talk about the Conservative’s agenda in clear concise terms, they refer only to a mysterious “Hidden Agenda”.  Especially when the Conservatives are up in the polls.)
