Here’s How Canada’s Immigration System Works

True story:  A terrorist, welcomed into Canada in 1987, has fended off deportation lo these many years.  This isn’t one of those “Here’s a weird story!” stories, it is a completely common occurrence in our liberal (and Liberal) Canada.  You can thank liberal immigration policy and the Supreme Court of Canada.

He is an Islamist terrorist.  His name is Mahmoud Mohammad Issa Mohammad. He’s 61.

That terrorist is seeking to remain in Canada because his health is bad, and he says health care is lousy in Lebanon, where he came from and where he belongs.  Lebanon is currently under the control and occupation of Syria if I understand my world politics correctly, which I’m sure I do.  Similarly, Canada is under the command and control of Liberals.

Unlike Canada, at least so far, Syria is controlled by the Ba’ath Party—and hey whadayaknow, that’s the same party as Iraq’s Saddam Hussein, who, if it were up to the Liberals in Ottawa, would still be President of Iraq, enabling him to continue raping and murdering and maiming and imprisoning countless thousands more Iraqis, and enabling him to steal more billions of its treasury, and enabling him to delay moving his WMD to Syria, and to continue flipping-off the United Nations and the world at large.

But like Canada, “health care” isn’t as important to the Ba’ath Party as, say, “death to America”.  So Lebanon, under Syrian occupation, has lousy health care—just like Canada, under the Liberals, has lousy health care.  Only it’s even worse in Lebanon.  Or so the terrorist says.

The former member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine attacked an Israeli airliner in Athens in 1968. He and another terrorist fired 83 rounds at the El Al plane and lobbed six grenades at it, killing one passenger.  He must have been very sad that he was unable to kill hundreds of the other passengers—including all those delicious children—on that airliner.  Poor guy.

He’s happily been living in Canada completely free and not in prison—much like hardworking, law-abiding, moral you and me and unlike your typical murderers and “dead-beat dads”—with the full knowledge of the Liberals in Ottawa.

He has a sore tummy.  Thankfully, our taxpayer-funded health care system has been able to take such good care of him, the poor, poor terrorist.  I imagine it has cost us countless tens of thousands of dollars to take care of the poor innocent little Palestinian terrorist angel who lives freely in our liberal country in which some government members officially hate America and thinks Americans are morons and idiots.  You see, there are no morons and idiots in Canada or France or Syria or Iraq.  Only in America.

Mahmoud Mohammad Issa Mohammad’s argument is that sending him back to Lebanon, where he came from,  would be “cruel and unusual punishment”. Mohammad’s case goes to court in Toronto on Oct. 14.  To the credit of the immigration department, which let him in the first place, they now want him out.  Might have been easier to not let him in, but they’re liberals.  Anyway now it’s not politically correct, I suppose, to have these terrorists (or what Liberals call victims of the “coalition of the idiots”), in Canada nowadays.  Bad PR.  Bad karma.  Losing Liberal Party votes maybe even.  Or not. I’ve never really figured out the Liberal voter and what they’re for and what they’re against—except I know they’re for the CBC.  And Al-Jazeera.  And against Fox News Channel.

The legal appeal against his deportation is only the terrorist’s latest attempt to avoid deportation. Immigration authorities began trying to deport him in 1988 (twenty years after trying to kill dozens of babies and grandmothers and only managing to kill one), but he has fended off their efforts by filing repeated court appeals. Again, this process is thanks to the Supreme Court of Canada and liberals.  His case is often cited as evidence that Canada’s refugee system is hopelessly flawed.  Or as the Liberals call it, “Another Liberal Patronage Appointment Opportunity and Chance for Expansion of Liberal Government.”

Mahmoud Mohammad Issa Mohammad joined the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine at the age of 25 and underwent a month of military training before he was sent to Athens to attack the El Al plane. Perhaps it was this month of skills-training that got him into Canada as a “skilled tradesman”.  On Boxing Day, 1968, he and an accomplice stormed the Boeing 707 as it was readying for takeoff.

Mahmoud Mohammad Issa Mohammad was convicted and sentenced to 17 years in prison, but in 1970, six Palestinian terrorists hijacked a Greek airliner and threatened to blow it up unless he was released.  He was more important to the Palestinian terrorists than the lives of babies, little girls, little boys, and grandmothers, who were useless infidels, and worse, may well have been just fine with that whole “America” thing.

To spare the lives of its citizens, Greece set Mohammad free. Mohammad moved to Cyprus and then travelled to Spain, where he applied to immigrate to liberal multicultural Canada, where one of the officially government-sanctioned cultures in the big liberal mosaic is “terrorists”. Together with his wife and three children, he arrived in Canada as an immigrant on Feb. 25, 1987.

It took immigration authorities a year to figure out he had not been truthful when he claimed on his immigration application that he had never been convicted of a crime. An immigration adjudicator ruled in December, 1988, that he should be deported.  Reminder:  the year is 2004, or sixteen years later than 1988.

But after the ruling to deport, Mohammad quickly applied for refugee status and although his claim was rejected, he has managed to stall deportation ever since by launching one appeal after another.  This is thanks to the Supreme Court of Canada and lax liberal policy and government—just a reminder.  All of that stupid “national security” stuff that the idiotic Americans harp about is so hard!

In a 1987 decision by the Supreme Court, anyone can make a refugee claim from within Canada and must be granted an oral hearing. Whenever I hear the words “oral hearing”, I’m reminded that the same Supreme Court will ponder the matter of gay marriage this fall.  Anyway, the unelected Supreme Court judges-turned-lawmakers give illegal immigrants and terrorists like Mohammad rights to welfare, housing, medicare, dental care, and legal aid among other Canadian goodies, and Canadian taxpayers are afforded the obligation to live amongst these people and tolerate them and pay for them.

Mohammad is just one of several foreign terrorists the Canadian government has tried unsuccessfully to deport. The Supreme Court of Canada ruled in 2002 that the government could only under rare circumstances deport terrorists who fear they might be tortured in their homelands. Note that the year 2002 is a year after the year 2001 made famous by 9-11. Liberals thank God—or Allah—these judges are in charge of our country.  And they will not fall back on their promise to never ever use our constitution’s Notwithstanding Clause.  But they’ll never have to since the Supreme Court is stacked with liberal judges appointed by Liberals.  Liberals think it’s delightfully Syrian.

“I really think it’s atrocious,” said James Bissett, a former head of the Canadian Immigration Service, who was involved in the initial attempts to deport Mohammad. “It’s a powerful example of the fact that we’ve completely lost control of who can enter Canada.”  Ahhh.  Liberals can rejoice.  Mission accomplished!
