Not finding anything particularly urgent to mention this morning, I thought I’d run this past you, just to get a smattering of an idea and to put the bug in your ear:
Who among you—and please be honest—would buy a T-shirt of some other such swag incorporating something pro-conservative and pro-this web site, some also pro-Canadian of course but some generic so as to appeal to our many U.S. visitors?
We have been messing with the idea of reviving our sales of conservative Canadian swag. We have an avid reader and supporter of this site amongst us (Barb), who as some of you already know has been a huge help to us here and wants to help even more by getting this swag-selling idea back on the track (we used to sell stuff but didn’t have much of a visitor base at that time so quit). She has graphics experience and has done a lot of research into the numbers and so on already.
In this new scenario, it would all be handled by us in-house, so no U.S. Dollar problems, and no getting shipments from the U.S., which was the situation before when we used CafePress. Of course the problem would be somewhat the opposite for our U.S. residents now….
Proceeds would obviously go toward keeping this place alive. We need “proceeds”!
