The national TV networks waited for their tape from the opposition “coalition”, since the opposition coalition demanded equal time, but the tape never got there! They just couldn’t get it together.
This speaks really well for the quality and ability of the “coalition”.
Maybe they couldn’t agree on the union or language or ethnicity or sex or lack thereof of the delivery man/woman/personage.
UPDATE:
The Liberal Frenchman spoke. Nearly a half hour late. He said he’d spend WAY more of your money on things than the Conservatives would. Yummy. They know best.
UPDATE 2:
The state-owned CBC “Newsworld”, channel 390 on my dial, is currently giving the socialist leader Jack Layton—who hardly anyone voted for, as much if not far more air time than either Prime Minister Harper or Liberal Frenchman had for their more official airtime, in a specially arranged “news conference” or “media availability” setting.
Following that: Liberal “strategist” Scott (“they’ll spend it on beer and popcorn unless we tax it away from them”) Reid, for expert commentary on Harper’s speech. Then they turned to the socialist you’ve got to be kidding party strategist Brad Lavigne, who added his valuable input on Harper’s speech. Both of them shockingly bashed Harper—which isn’t mean or nasty because they’re “progressives”. Wink.
Then a Conservative strategist got his turn. When he tried to comment on Layton’s speech, Don Newman cut him off and redirected him toward the Harper-critical question he asked him.

Hot Air is a book on the “man-made global warming” by liberal Globe and Mail liberal columnist Jeffrey Simpson. Betcha it’s autographed.
