In light of my blog entry yesterday about Team Martin/ Hargrove/ Julie Van Dusen/ CBC and their apparent hate-on for conservative Canadians which seem designed to divide our families and our nation, I thought this blog entry by CTV reporter David Akin said a lot about Conservative leader Stephen Harper. (Hat tip to daverbonz and several emailers).
[…] Harper was asked about the Liberal strategy of the last several days that seemed bent on getting voters to hate Conservatives and Harper. “Canadians don’t hate things. That is not the nature of Canadians. Canadians can disagree but it takes a lot to get Canadians to intensely hate something or hate somebody and usually it involves hockey.”
A citizen commented: “What a class act Mr. Harper is.”
