I’ve spent the past week, nearly, in the hospital with my dear old mom who fell and fractured her knee. The first two days were spent with my mom on a stretcher in a hospital hallway, waiting.
So you can imagine how this blog post or feature-length article is going to go. I took a picture. Because it was so unreal. You know, for a non-third-world country.
My mom, who has dutifully paid all her taxes all of her nearly 82 years, including her “healthcare” premiums, is the patient closest to the camera.
So, more to come about this. Not that this is the first story of its kind. More like the 8-millionth.
