While those of us in the sensible set (including capitalists and such) may have a slightly different opinion about Liberal Frenchman Stephane Dion, liberal-leftists and environuts all agree: He’s our li’l buddy! Our li’l “carbon buddy”!
But I guess that’s partially what they’re TOLD to think (they do seem to enjoy being told how to think). After all, it was the liberals’ liberalvision CTV that dubbed Liberal Frenchman Stephane Dion “The Green Guru” as their way to establish what you’re supposed to think about him if you’re a good little liberal-slash-Canadian sheep.
I found it interesting that in two different liberal mainstream media web sites this morning, they feature a very carefully cropped photo of “The Green Guru” giving his speech this morning, such that the words “Carbon Bud” were prominently displayed. In one, it was “Our Carbon Bud”. Both photos were taken by the same photographer who is clearly skilled at cropping photos just right… for the cause! He’s their boy! He’s their li’l carbon bud! (Actually in fairness, it may well have been the newspapers who cropped the photographer’s photos just right).

Now here’s how the Globe and Mail decided to do it (recall that the Globe and Mail and CTV are owned by the same company, so there’s plenty of video footage they could draw on):
Now here’s how it actually looked in real life. You can see how they cropped it just right. Even took the French part out but left the English “Carbon Bud” part in! Avoids confusion and makes their message more clear for you sheep! They treat you like total morons, but God bless ‘em!
