Globe and Mail reinterprets the news for us dumb Canooks

“Rideau Hall pick disappoints separatist hard-liners” is how the pseudo-intellectual liberal suckups at the Globe and Mail characterize the feelings of the nation after the apparently drunk Paul Martin picked another state-run CBC reporter to be leader of all the land, to much ridicule across the land—even in Quebec. 

I read four stories of disgust and outrage and hilarity for every one positive story.  But the liberal media elites only read the Globe and Mail and watch the CBC, it seems—then they just make stuff up and print what suits ‘em! 

The sub-headline reads:  “Sovereignty watchdogs stir up gossip, saying Jean, spouse were two of their own”.

imageSee? The silly twits are just stirring up “gossip”.  It was Mr. Paul Martin, Liberal, after all, who appointed this universally known, respected, and loved Grand Canadian Dame and patriot to the post.

When Canadians speak down about a Liberal or liberal-left move, they’re “extremists”, or “stirring up gossip”, or “a vocal minority” or if they’re really annoying to liberals, they’re from the “Christian-right” or the “religious-right”.  In the event of the utmost disgraceful attack against liberals, add “American” in front of the aforementioned. 

The first paragraph in the “news” story by unknown reporter (but future Governor-General candidate!) Ingrid Peritz sets up the piece for you, you, well, idiots (or to put it another way, you “Canadians”—especially you hideous westerners):
