I think it’s an amazing opening for a documentary film that doesn’t tout the usual liberal-luvin’ left-wing or far-left-wing “progressive” values, and whose writer/director isn’t a far-left loon like Michael Moore who is molly-coddled and fawned over by the adoring liberal media as if he were a Prophet. Breaking in at the top ten is great for any movie. (See my original write-up and a trailer here).
The Ben Stein documentary, which reveals the fact that atheists and Darwinian evolutionists and their left-wing “progressive” soldiers and clerics in schools and elsewhere are at war with Christians and religion generally, and are attempting to forbid the very discussion of intelligent design, beat Hollywood liberal and Bush-hating left-wing political mouthpiece George Clooney’s dunderhead movie “Leatherheads”, which only ranked #10.
The movie “Smart People”, starring Dennis Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Thomas Haden Church was ranked at #11.
