Enshrine Marriage Canada Releases National Declaration on Marriage
Explains How To Protect Traditional MarriageToronto Enshrine Marriage Canada (EMC) chairman William Gairdner issued A Declaration on Marriage today outlining the importance of protecting the traditional definition of marriage as the union of one woman and one man.
The Declaration presents seven simple points, and seven straightforward arguments to help Canadians protect traditional marriage. We are engaged in a coast-to-coast debate with real social and moral consequences, and with this Declaration we hope to move the debate forward to all Canadians, said Gairdner.
The Declaration is available on EMCs website at www.enshrinemarriage.ca. In it EMC outlines in seven brief articles the key arguments for protecting marriage. The Declaration will serve as an excellent resource for all involved in the debate over marriage in Canada, said Gairdner, and will soon be translated into dozens of languages.
As a national movement to protect marriage, EMC wants to start this process by speaking to all Canadians in both English and French, and is therefore pleased to announce that the French-language edition of its website went live today.
