Are we witnessing one of the biggest political frauds ever perpetrated on the American people?
Adding further proof to the fact that the Left, as led by Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and radical Democrats, purposely rushed their faux “stimulus” bill through congress through shear panic and FEAR MONGERING and claims that “emergency” action was required “to avoid total catastrophe” so that the President could sign it and get it going without a moment’s delay —was actually designed so that nobody would have time to think, and nobody could read all the left-wing, America-changing, socialist horror contained within its over 1000 pages of insanity —Obama is spending the weekend doing NOTHING and NOT SIGNING the bill. Not until he gets back.
He took Air Force One to Chicago to take his wife out for supper in a fancy upscale restaurant, for the entire long (President’s Day!) weekend. How “green” (that other “emergency”!), and “emergency”-ish and “urgent stimulus”-y of him. Then it’s back onto Air Force One, maybe on Tuesday or so, to sign that “emergency” “stimulus” bill, which nobody has even read because it was such an “emergency” to pass it, into law.
WHAT’S THE RUSH?
‘URGENT’ $TIMULUS ON HOLD FOR BAM’S WEEKEND OFFAfter pushing Congress for weeks to hurry up and pass the massive $787 billion stimulus bill, President Obama promptly took off for a three-day holiday getaway.
Obama arrived at his home in Chicago on Friday, and treated wife Michelle to a Valentine’s Day dinner downtown last night. The couple was spotted leaving upscale Table Fifty-Two, which specializes in Southern cuisine, with the first lady toting what appeared to be a doggie bag.
The president plans to spend the Presidents’ Day weekend in the Windy City, and is not expected to sign the bill until Tuesday, when he travels to Denver to discuss his economic plan.
Both the House and Senate passed the bill Friday night.
The push to get the bill through before the holiday weekend was so frantic, members of Congress didn’t have a chance to read all 1,071 pages of the document before they could vote….
Over the coming days and weeks, as people find time to read the 1000 pages of waste and leftist social and political and economic engineering, we’ll hear lots about what’s in store for America as a result of this fraud. (No, not in the mainstream media, silly! In non-liberal-left-agenda-driving information sources.)
