Election date set for Canada! And latest poll says Conservatives now in majority territory!

Election called for October 19, 2009!  Sure that was done back in 2006 and the law received Royal Assent back in May of this year, but people in this country ignore and forget things that don’t have to do with being gay, fighting the global war on cigarette smoking, or being super environmental ‘n stuff

Assuming Prime Minister Harper lives up to his promise, the only people who will bring about an election are the various left-wing and far-left parties in Parliament, by a vote of non-confidence.  And if they don’t do that, then they’re full of it, because they keep telling us they have no confidence in this government and that they’re not fit to govern.
