Economists: The stimulus didn’t help

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com)—The recovery is picking up steam as employers boost payrolls, but economists think the government’s stimulus package and jobs bill had little to do with the rebound, according to a survey released Monday.

In latest quarterly survey by the National Association for Business Economics, the index that measures employment showed job growth for the first time in two years—but a majority of respondents felt the fiscal stimulus had no impact.

D’oh!  Turns out zee science is nit shettled.  Debate she rages.  Zee progressives refuse to accept zee science!  Must been spending more of zee taxpayer moneys!  Consensus conschmensus!

I think the special science of the progressives tell them that since the progressives in all levels of governments have already ignored sensible, conservative Americans and Canadians and have spent our future and our children’s and their children’s future into a massive and near-inescapable debt, taxation, big-government ditch, they’ve got to spend more of our money in order to dig themselves out of their spending and debt quagmire.  It’s interesting science. It’s been tried over and over and their experiments fail each time, in fact worse each time, but they think it will turn out differently this time.  Veddy interestink.
