A CTV poll going on right now has this result so far:
… and at the huge multi-million-dollar state-run CBC.CA People’s Web Site division of the Liberal Party, even they have no good news for the Liberals’ big big Big Brother (a new familial twist on “nanny state”—sort of a relative I guess—suddenly they’re all about the Canadian family!) announcement. In their “Your View” letters—a tally of 30 letters posted so far, 2 are in favor of Martin’s Team Big Brother. 28 are against.

In another update of what I can now, after lots of reading and listening, only describe as universal ridicule, complete dismisal, and general outrage (yes, it’s a strange combination, but it was a Liberal thang), reader “cj” clued me into to this poll being conducted at the good Toronto Sun.
