Duck-Gate: The duck story that won’t go away: Greenpeace demands public inquiry. CBC reports it.

The left’s very own state-owned media division, the CBC, reports this yesterday, along with almost everything else the left demands that it report, obediently.  “Greenpeace Canada is demanding a public inquiry into the deaths last week of migratory ducks at an oilsands tailings pond in northern Alberta.”

Got a cause?  Are you a leftist?  Environmentalist?  Are you a radical socialist—a woman preferably with hairy armpits and a grievance against a group you promise to call “neo-cons”?  Then you just might be a CBC News media star.

You won’t see:  “Joel Johannesen demands a royal inquiry looking into where in tarnation these quacking duckheads come up with this stuff; and where in tarnation the expression ‘oh shut up you muck raking time wasting taxpayer cash blowing arse-bite’  disappeared to.”

You also won’t see anything at the CBC about the conservative bloggers or Mark Steyn getting officially taken down by Canada’s leftists and their courts and “human rights” commissions … for daring to say things conservatives are concerned about.  Then again Steyn et al are humans.  Well, conservatives in any case.

And despite their love affair with tallies—like the dead ducks tally—they won’t update you on the tally of needless abortions performed so far this year (my PTBC counter atop my site’s pages reads:  34,612 so far this year in Canada.  And the babies didn’t die in Alberta oil tar sands tailings ponds, but rather in Canada’s hospitals and abortion mills.)

The CBC also neglected to report my personal contention stated here last week (see below) that the Greenpeace spokesman (or is he a CBC reporter—it’s hard to tell) sounds very much like a communist to me.

EXTRA DUMB DUMB:

In one of the more pedantic columns written yet by Barbara Yaffe of the Vancouver Sun, a columnist who has never written one I’d ever publish even if this were a liberal advocacy web site, today’s apparently represents her very best effort on Duck-Gate:  “Dead birds draw embarrassing attention to Alberta oilsands”.  Hands up all you “embarrassed” Albertans!

It’s Grade-A typical liberal-leftist loathing toward anything Albertan and corporate and oil, served-up with a glass of plaintive west coast whine, as if by a server dressed in Greenpeace uniform (stinkin’ t-shirt—with message!—unkempt noggin region, filthy jeans, ironic army boots or optional sandals).  Here it is in a nutshell:  Must publicly apologize!  Wait—you already did?  Apology isn’t enough!  … The Stephen Harper Conservatives must personally get involved if they are to have any hope of winning the next election!!  … That pond—why it’s toxic!  … How many birds must die!!!!1111!!!!!#? …  It’s so embarrassing!  …  Halliburton! ….  (And then she tootles off in her li’l car to fill up the tank, CBC radio blaring away….)

P.S.
CBC hasn’t attached ”-Gate” to their duckie story yet, as they did with the Barack Obama… no sorry Conservative Party’s “NAFTA-Gate”, which they did in that case because, and I quote the CBC, “that’s what it is being called!”
