The forums are all open again.
Thanks to everyone who wrote emails and offered support in cash and kind. As much as anything else, of course, I hope that people will participate there and make use of the forums.
There are a great deal more visitors who simply read and never participate, than those who actively participate—I’ve studied the server logs quite carefully! And of course it’s great that so many people read the threads there—I suspect a huge number of liberals are reading what we all write, and more than a few influential and important people in politics and the news media as well. And I know for a fact that people sitting in government offices are reading, because they’re easily identifiable in our logs! Hi Government of Canada employees and Members of Parliament!
But for those of you sitting on the sidelines, I’d really like to encourage you to join up and join in. Start your own topic or simply reply to another one. Do not feel intimidated by anyone there. Simply try to write intelligently, be fair and square, and by all means use humour if you’ve got it. Enjoy those forums and make use of them.
Spread the word around. Link to the forums in your own websites and blogs.
