I think the keyboards at CTV.ca need oiling or something. Apparently the D, E, M, O, C, R, A, T, I, (and C again!) keys are stuck, and cannot be pushed by simple fingers alone. Too bad since the CTV.ca site placed the story in the “POLITICS” menu on their front page.
And as a result of this inconvenient techno-glitch, we are not informed as to the inconvenient truth about the fact that the DEMOCRATIC PARTY mayor of Detroit, who like so many of his DEMOCRATIC PARTY political brethren, is charged with all sorts of things revolving around sex and extra-marital affairs and lying and perjury, and is yet another DEMOCRAT.
Darn the luck. Until they get those keyboards fixed, every sex scandal is Republican.
Coincidentally, every media report I read or see similarly has that glitch with their keyboards. Weird, huh?
Detroit mayor, aide plead not guilty to charges
DETROIT—Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his former top aide have pleaded not guilty to charges they lied under oath about having an affair…
… Not guilty pleas were entered for them on charges of perjury, conspiracy, obstruction of justice and misconduct in office…
…Both are accused of lying under oath … Steamy text messages … revealed a flirty, sometimes explicit, dialogue between the two…
These “flirty” and “sometimes explicit” text messages—14,000 of them—have also been referred to in other media as, reportedly so salacious and explicit that we can’t even repeat most of them on air.
They might also have added that the DEMOCRAT Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, 37, is married with three children. His alleged lover Beatty, also 37, was married at the time and has two children.
And the Mayor wears an ear ring. How progressive.
P.S.: The story buried at CBC.ca also suffers from that keyboard affliction.
I suggest new keyboards. Or I guess a workaround is to just assume that if it’s a salacious story about alleged misdeeds, and the political affiliation is not mentioned, the culprit is a liberal or Democrat. It’s inconvenient, but the real truth often is.
