Canada wins! Against its government!
The privately-owned CTV network has won the 2010 Olympics broadcast rights for Canada. It was just announced by the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne.
State-owned CBC competed against the private broadcaster using taxpayer money. I wrote about it here this past weekend.
