The Conservative government has moved to raise what used to be “the age of sexual consent” from the ripe old age of 14, to the ancient age of 16. And they renamed it the “age of protection”.
The liberal-left are against that. The liberal-left are in a funk this morning. I already hear cries of “slippery slope!” Soon it will be age 34!
One reporter asked in the news conference if it applied to gay children too, and was surprised to find that yes, it did.
The good Conservative Minister of Justice, Vic Toews, seemed rather surprised that the reporter would be so surprised to realize that it applied to all children—whether they were gay children or not. No follow-up from the reporter asking about “colored” children or “joos”.
Naturally, the liberal-left orgasm parties and their strokers had plenty to say about it, including public health officials who are apparently pro-sex between the kids without any of these inhibiting factors getting in the way.
Here’s what one apparently liberal taxpayer-paid public health official had to say:
“The people that are supporting this bill are anti-sex,” said Allie Lehmann, manager of sexual health promotion for Toronto Public Health.
“We don’t want the age of consent raised. We think it’s fine at the age of 14. We believe in educating youth to make informed choices. … Using the Criminal Code won’t advance our aims in this regard.”
A recent poll conducted no doubt to find that another one of Team Liberal/NDP’s so-called quote unquote “Canadian Values” is sex with 14-year-olds (in addition to late-term abortions, divorce, gay marriage, kids smoking pot, and prostitution), actually found that of 1,508 adults, about 65 per cent of Canadians side with the Conservative government’s belief that sex under 16 is immoral. Well darn the luck. That ain’t liberal.
The poll, which mistakenly asked Canadians (rather than strictly the likes of the “manager of sexual health promotion for Toronto Public Health” and other identical liberal bureaucrats across our country who are paid by taxpayers to look after the day care, “sexual health”, oh and early learning of our kids) what behaviour they consider to be immoral, found that 61 per cent of men thought sexual relations before 16 was wrong; 68 per cent of women polled felt the same way.
As we know even without taking a poll, 98% of liberals feel that polls should only be used by immigrant poll dancers who are 14 or older, but preferably younger than 17 performing for them in “private” gay “bath houses” and swingers clubs; and by legalized “sex trade workers”.
