After reviewing the Liberal government’s “income trust” scandal, the Conservatives have just announced that they have or will formally ask the ethics commissioner, Bernard Shapiro, to launch an investigation into the scandal.
As we know, the Ontario Securities Commission, the RCMP, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating that Liberal government “non-issue” already.
This new investigation would relate more to violations of our country’s conflict of interest codes.
More to come. Yes I know—it’s hard to believe that “more will come”, but despite all the horrendous news of scandal and corruption and criminal investigations relating to Liberals and their government, we know nothing. I implore you to remind yourselves of that fact, and as always, imagine what you and I and all Canadians DON’T know about the Liberals.
