Conference Board of Canada renews its endorsement of Conservatives’ math

Just moments ago, on the state-run CBC Newsworld, the Deputy Chief Economist of the Conference Board of Canada reiterated his endorsation of the Conservatives Party’s campaign numbers, saying that they will not result in any deficit, and in fact allow for a continued surplus.

The Conference Board of Canada is a body upon which the Canadian government has long relied to endorse their own economic outlooks, including the Liberal government’s outlooks of course.

He also established that the Conservatives do not plan on gutting social programs to do that, nor raise taxes.

Asked by the state-employed news anchors how it was that the Conference Board of Canada came to make the analysis of the Conservative Party platform, he answered that the Conservative Party took it upon themselves (obviously at some considerable political risk!) to ask the Conference Board to look at their platform and their numbers, and the Conference Board obliged them.

The spokesman then said that the Conference Board took it upon itself to, in all fairness, ask the Liberal Party and the fringe socialist you’ve got to be kidding party if they’d each like their own numbers similarly analyzed, but they both refused the offer.

It might also be noted that the prestigious C.D. Howe Institute verifies the Conservatives’ numbers as well.
