Former President Bill Clinton’s long-term legacy, despite the Arabs building him the Clinton Museum of History Re-Writes (and Library) in Arkansas, where all is explained otherwise, is his having sex with a young female underling in the oval office.
I imagine the Whitewater scandal and other well-denied and settled-out-of-court sex-related incidents will help solidify his place in history.
For me, it’s his handling of Rwanda through his beloved United Nations, where, under his watch, 800,000 Rwandans were masacred.
Most Americans say Bill Clinton will be remembered for his sex and lies with Monica Lewinsky — even though he all but erased her from his presidential library — a new poll has found.
When asked what they would remember Clinton for, 53 percent cited the Lewinsky sex scandal, according to the Polling Company’s survey.
Only 11 percent say he’ll be remembered as a good president.
“He cannot dislodge from Americans’ minds how they remember his presidency,” said GOP pollster Kellyanne Conway, whose firm did the survey.
Clinton’s presidential library, which opened last week in Little Rock, Ark., devotes scant attention to Monicagate.
