Clinton to Tsunami victims: Yeah yeah, very sad, whatever

Liberals should read my previous blog entry first.  Scroll down a little to read it.

OK.  Now:  And you thought the Republicans were “capitalist pigs”, liberals?

Get a load of what your demi-God and liberal icon Bill Clinton was up to on his mission of so-called mercy in tsunami-sticken Asia.

NewsMax.com has the scoop:

Clinton’s Tsunami Mission Doubles as Book Tour

Ex-President Bill Clinton won oodles of positive press earlier this week when he traveled to South Asia with ex-President George H.W. Bush to personally minister to South Asia’s still-reeling tsunami victims.

But in a development that seems to have escaped the notice of Western reporters, the “I feel your pain” president took a detour from his humanitarian mission to boost sales of his memoir, “My Life.”

Book-signings were hastily arranged in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan, while Clinton representatives kept mum about what their boss was really up to.

For the Hong Kong event on Tuesday, tickets for a quickie grip and grin with Clinton cost as much as $280 each. The steep price included a copy of his book and his signature, but personal inscriptions were verboten.

According to the South China Morning Post, Clinton also spent more than two hours in the Kelly & Walsh bookstore in Taipei this week, where he signed 500 copies of his 900-page tome.

He also signed books at the Kyobo Bookstore in Seoul, South Korea.
