CBC Dumbcheck - #1

Today I’m launching a new periodic series of blog entries, which might in fact end up being a book the size of one of those fabulous Cadillac SUVs.  I’m going with “CBC Dumbcheck” as the title.  (Buy the T-Shirt!  And check out the web site! No not really, but I did start a forum in our Town Square forums so you can add to it like a wiki—in fact I might start an actual wiki!  You’ll probably read about all this in all the liberal media because after all, “a web site is planned”!).

The series is based on the simple notion I have, that watching or listening or reading almost anything put out by the state-run media actually makes you dumber.  By the second.  (If you’re not standing on guard for theeself).

Installment Number one:  Apparent Attempt to Trivialize Egregious Liberal Party Malfeasance by way of Bogus Headlines at State-Run CBC.ca Web Site (this happens so often you could fill the first 80 chapters of my Cadillac SUV-sized tome with it).

“Senator expelled from Liberal caucus
over house work”

The actual story is one in which yet again, a Liberal personage—this one an unelected patronage appointment Liberal Senator personage, is accused of STEALING OUR MONEY and is under investigation by the RCMP.  Again with the Liberals under criminal investigation!

Yet the taxpayer-funded state-run CBC attempts, as I see it, to trivialize the matter and pretend that it’s merely a small matter of being expelled over simple, paltry “house work”.  You know, mopping the floor.  Dusting.

Nice try.  But we’re not as dumb as you think we are.
