Call the cops on the Libs, says conservative MP

Conservative MP Diane Ablonczy says the federal police should be called in—presumably in lieu of the Canadian “Army”, which started to dissolved like Kool-Aid crystals a few years ago under the Liberals’ wily multi-year plan to “lead the world”.  We do still have the RCMP don’t we?  Oh of course we do.  Trouble is, there’s so many of them investigating criminal political corruption charges within the Liberal Party and their media friends—vis-a-vis the sponsorship corruption inquiry— there might not be enough left to investigate Judy Sgro.  How convenient!  Those Liberals are tricky!

Accusations that outgoing Immigration Minister Judy Sgro traded political favours for pizza should spark a sweeping RCMP probe, say opposition MPs. Calling it a “barefaced, breathtaking” breach of ethical standards, Tory critic Diane Ablonczy said Harjit Singh’s legal claim points to actions more serious than bad management.

Sgro resigned her cabinet position yesterday over allegations she offered to protect a Brampton pizzeria owner from deportation to India in exchange for food and workers for her re-election campaign.

‘INFLUENCE PEDDLING’

“If these allegations are true, it’s clearly influence peddling,” Ablonczy said. “It’s selling your ability to act in the public good, selling it out for your own benefit, and the abuse is absolute in that case.”
