In a shocking turn, it has just been announced that both RCMP officers who were shot July 7 but who were both surviving in hospital, suddenly died last night in hospital.
Constables Robin Cameron, 29, and Marc Bourdages, 26, were shot in Saskatchewan near the small town of Mildred. They were in pursuit of an assault suspect who turned and fired on them and a third officer who was not killed.
Bourdages leaves a wife—also and RCMP officer—and their 9-month-old son. Cameron was a single mother with a 11-year-old daughter, who lived on an Indian reserve.
God bless them both and their families.
The suspect, Curtis Dagenais, 41, is still on the loose.
