The Seattle Times reports “The show includes the usual Madonna fixtures — sequins, fishnets and bondage-style outfits…”. And an APF report explains:
“…During the song “Get Stupid”, she appeared to take a swipe at US Republican presidential contender John McCain whose picture flashed up alongside images of destruction and global warming as well as Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe.
Towards the end of the song, pictures of Beatles star John Lennon, former US vice-president Al Gore, Indian independence icon Mahatma Gandhi and McCain’s Democrat rival Barack Obama appeared…”
The Ass. Press reports that Madonna also tries her hand at poll dancing. You know, for the kids.
Apparently Madonna is trying, increasingly desperately, to prove to us and the kids that she is an intellectually dishonest politically extremist left-wing whore who is incapable of portraying reality and so presents hate and anger and her own twisted, perverted reality instead.
