Anti-Israel liberal-left elephant: Meet Mr. Harper

I don’t think the Prime Minister is “dividing the nation” as per the liberal-left and their media’s hideously ridiculous talking points which they fired-up yesterday, as invented by their crack liberal-friendly media firms—you remember them!

But of course I think he should.  As a national leader, he should help explain and separate-out the people who are anti-Israel or who draw a moral equivalence between Islamo-fascist terrorists and Israeli or even Canadian defence forces as liberals have done recently as well as those who constantly preach their liberal-left fundamentalist moral relativist sermon about the actions of Islamo-fascist terrorist savages —versus those of us in the west or Israel who are defending against them.

Doing so helps define our enemies.  It’s what I call “winning the war”. And being “pro-Canada”, “pro-freedom and democracy” and actually being a “leader”.  Liberals are unfamiliar with the terms of reference.

It’s easy to do, really.  Here’s how:  It’s always liberals who are on the wrong side (hi Dippers!), or who are at best in the gray zone and full of ambiguity or ambivalence (hi liberals!) or contradictory statements (hi Ignatieff!) or indecision (hi all liberals!) about the difference between savage terrorists who want us or our allies dead, and us.  So say so in public. You’re done!  Now move on to more progress and Canada-building.

He should be applauded for doing that and exposing the truth about liberals.  Naturally of course liberals are against that.  Truth is not part of their election strategy, especially when it’s truth about them, and the crack liberal media division picked right up on that.  Rather than allow the truth about liberals to be blurted out on live TV just willy-nilly into society unchecked by liberals, CTV and CBC instantly lined-up 89 Liberals and Layton’s you’ve got to be kidding party hacks to chastise the Prime Minister.  They could scarcely find one supporter of the Prime Minister’s position or words and if they did, he had to battle three left-wing Harper-haters sharing the TV face-time with him.

Ignatieff’s anti-Israel’s remarks are now officially considered by the media to be “just fine” or at worst “a little gaffe”—but Harper is a very very bad man for pointing out the anti-Israel elephant in the liberal-left room.  In truth they should erect a statue in his honor.

Here’s the truth:

“Frankly, I think, though, this is consistent with the anti-Israeli position that has been taken by virtually all of the candidates for the Liberal leadership. And I don’t think it’s helpful or useful.”

—Prime Minister Stephen Harper

It was approximately the 18th time yesterday that the Conservative Prime Minister was spot-on about something.  The liberal media is going to be working overtime this week (that means five-hour days!).

Here’s the elephant:

“I think it’s not prime ministerial,” [leadership candidate Stéphane] Dion told CBC News.

“The prime minister is dividing communities, dividing the nation for clearly partisan purposes.”

In this case, the Prime Minister isn’t “dividing the nation” as much as dividing the liberals.  But to liberals, that’s “the nation”.  That’s their blinkered narrow-casting and arrogance shining through again.

Socialist Liberal leadership contender Bob Rae pretended that he was outraged too, given that part of his family has some Jewishness in them. He argued that therefore, how could he be anti-Israel?  That sapless defence and lack of logic astounded even other liberals, which is an amazing feat.  So that was fun.

People should pick sides.  I’m against Islamo-fascist terrorism and in favor of democracies like Israel defending themselves when members of their defence forces are kidnapped by enemy savages and Islamo-fascist terrorists lob bombs from rocket-launchers hidden in Lebanese citizens’ bathtubs onto Israel in order to kill innocent citizenry on purpose;  and I’m in favor of any of our side defending ourselves with overwhelming force that is completely unbalanced and unmeasured when that happens.  To do less than that would be to execute a poorly measured response

Our Prime Minister should publicly share those values. And what do you know, he’s doing that!

Liberals should too, but they seem to find it excruciatingly difficult to do that—or to even pick sides, choosing instead to be woefully ambiguous and to play both sides against the middle to get votes and power. The elephant has just met Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and the elephant has clearly defined Mr. Harper as the enemy.
