According to a “news” story in the liberals’ media today written by a fella named “R” who works for the Canadian Press (see byline at left), the Conservatives (no sorry the “Tories”—as “Conservatives” is too hard to type out when you’re in such a hurry to thrash out this kind of tripe) have called a special meeting for this weekend. And they’d have us believe it’s all in order to hash out a response to “a possible scandal” (oh let’s hope, huh media brothers? Maybe if we say it 8,000 times, it will be one! Fit the word in between constant references to a “possible recession”! And of course the ubiquitous “hidden agenda”! Don’t forget to add the latest tally re the “war dead” we’ve racked-up in Afghanistan!)
I love how they inform you that the meeting (in which they will, and I quote, “plot”) is “behind closed doors”. Ooh! Must be secret then, huh? By gum it MUST be a scandal!
The Conservatives are holding their national caucus this week. Yeah, it’s “behind closed doors”. The media knows all this. Even agent “R”, who poops behind closed doors, and probably writes this stuff while he’s at it. (That’s reason #47 why I’m not an editor).
PTBC reader Maureen, who sent me this item written by agent “R” writes: “Oh my – a “scandal” is brewing – more MSM creativity. Could someone tell me why the well-being of the Taliban is more important than our soldiers?”
And I know she knows the answer, as do all of you.
