I did mention this on Feb 16 here and briefly Feb 15 here, but here’s a new article about what now has to be renamed the Bush didn’t lie, but liberals did! story.
Of course it hasn’t yet been renamed by the media, officially. It’s still “Bush lied, kids died”. Of course our state-run media calls the war on terror “the ‘so-called’ war on terror”, so yes, liberals are a little slow on the uptake! And on top of that, my bees in New York tell me that one of the liberals’ biggest sources, Michael Moore, was out for boigers when the news hit the stands. So there’s that.

Saddam Had WMD
[…] Inconveniently for critics of the war, Saddam made tapes in his version of the Oval Office. These tapes landed in the hands of American intelligence and were recently aired publicly.
The first 12 hours of the tapes — there are hundreds more waiting to be translated — are damning, to say the least. They show conclusively that Bush didn’t lie when he cited Saddam’s WMD plans as one of the big reasons for taking the dictator out.
Nobody disputes the tapes’ authenticity. On them, Saddam talks openly of programs involving biological, chemical and, yes, nuclear weapons. […]
