I’ve repeatedly remarked about the state-owned, socialism-reliant, and ever so non-committal (they still insist on calling the war on terror the “so-called” war on terror) CBC’s official pre-Obama capitalism is dead! and Oh Oh Here Comes the ‘O’ Word! and Pretty Soon Now We’ll Be Having That Recession! Get Ready! banner icon used for the past several months on any story related to the economy.
I particularly noted the downward trend on their Capitalism is Dead! (…) financial chart icon as seen at left and below. If they had a socialism icon, it would be pointing straight up. I think it would be fun if they had one. (Things I would do if I could take over and run that left-wing lunatic propaganda joint for a week…)

I predicted that post-Obama election (and post-the congressional passage of massive government “stimulus” spending), the far-left, socialism-reliant CBC would turn their frowns upside down and start to see nothing but sunshine, and they have in many ways.
Well it’s only May 25, and the “stimulus” cash hasn’t even been doled-out yet, GM is going bankrupt and will be taken over by Barack Obama and his Chicago machine, but hey! What a difference the election of what turns out to be a neo-socialist President makes! Here’s the proof I needed that it’s officially starting at the increasingly happy CBC, as they watch socialism unfold in the United States just as they dreamed…

I imagine the socialism chart that I would include if I were in charge would be jumping up and right off our TV screens. I’d make it flash and include a smiley face. Possibly like the one on Jonah Goldberg’s excellent book Liberal Fascism.
