Let’s go over this again! The left-wing media, which can’t stop talking about it, talks again about it again. It’s turning into their Sarah Palin of news photos. But this is getting funnier and funnier.
Now, apparently, the increasingly famous picture is itself an icon which represents a “right-wing smear” and, of course, can you guess? Yes, it’s “racism”! Anytime you say anything about Obama without ending it with “he’s brilliant!”, it’s “racism”. Disagree with Sonia Sotomayor and her racial comments, and you’re the “racist”, on the basis that she’s a self-described “wise” Latina woman (oh and a liberal).
MSNBC Labels Obama Stare Photo ‘Right Wing Smear;’ Singles Out Drudge, Fox
MSNBC’s David Shuster and Tamron Hall labeled the circulation of a photo of President Obama allegedly glancing at a teenager’s posterior a “right wing smear,” and singled out Fox News and Drudge as culprits. They brought on a Media Matters spokesman, who accused these sites of being motivated by a “racist stereotype of an oversexed black man being a predator.”
To liberals, anything you say or do that they don’t like is given the moniker “homophobic”, or “racist”, or “right-wing”, or you’re a man-made global warming “denier”. Or, of course, you’re from the “Christian Right” (would someone give me the phone number of that outfit so I can inquire about its membership qualifications?).
I first saw the photo—a Reuters photo (you know, those “right-wingers”)—on ABC News’ web site—you know, that bastion of right-wingyness. That’s likely where Drudge and Fox News found it. Fox News’ Greta van Susteren pointed out on her show her contention that the photo is not what it seems, and provided video proof on her web site at Fox to back that up, under the heading: “President Obama Picture: A Lie”. ABC News also did. I’d also pointed to ABC News’ version of the story contending the picture is not what it seemed.
Days later, however, the Vancouver Sun’s terrible columnist Shelley Fralic wrote a hideously stupid column about the photo, excusing Obama for checking out the young 16-year-old girl’s butt, long after it was already established by Fox News and ABC News and even here at little old PTBC that it may not in fact be what it seemed. Fralic excused him on the basis that heck, after all, he’s just a typical male. You know, non-sexist, intellectual stuff like that. And later, wrote that people should “chill” and “OMG” (actual quotes from her writing). And my my, that “right-wing” Vancouver Sun. Smearing their hero-man Obama by agreeing he’s checking her butt out. Racists!
Media Matters is a very far-left George Soros-supported supposed “news” site relied on only by the likes of the state-owned CBC and Michael Moore for their source of news. No serious journalist or news outfit would rely on Media Matters for their source of news analysis. Which is why MSNBC does.
MSNBC is owned by General Electric, which (with its CEO, Jeffrey Immelt) is in serious cahoots with Barack Obama, to the extent that the liberals’ incessant, bogus blathering about Dick Cheney and George Bush and Halliburton, are like nothing but a passing glance at a girls’ butt, compared to Barack Obama and GE and Immelt and NBC and Media Matters and George Soros and most all of the news media (you can drum-up your own graphical caricature of that manage à bunch). MSNBC is in dead last, by far, in the cable news ratings.
Fox News Channel is the ratings leader, by far, often doubling CNN and all the competition combined. The Drudge Report is among the Internet’s most popular, most successful web sites.
