In one of the most hateful, unbalanced, unhinged personal-attack pieces of journalistic garbage I’ve read since reading the picayune Vancouver Sun columnist Barbara Yaffe call Sarah Palin “Bullwinkle Barbie” in the headline of her column (with the irony going right over her head), the liberal Globe and Mail’s premier columnist (yes, folks, this is the best they could do) compares Sarah Palin to… a peeing dog, today.
The Globe and Mail is owned by CTVGlobalMedia, the same owner as CTV and CHUM radio, as well as numerous other media in Canada.
She also dubbed her “the pin-up girl from Alaska.” Oh the respect. And the lack of abject hypocrisy. I can hardly wait until somebody compares any liberal woman with a peeing dog or calls her a pin-up girl. And I hope her children read it first. That would be a nice touch.
And like the snotty Barbara Yaffe, Margaret Wente has accomplished so much more in her young life than Sarah Palin, that pin-up girl slash peeing-dog idiot from Alaska. I honestly think these two “ladies” are classic examples of psychological projection.
Or pure bull crap. Oh let’s be honest: it’s both, and it’s from one of the two most otiose (and, to re-use that most perfect word) picayune columnists in North America today. Therefore she won Canada’s National Newspaper Award for column-writing this year.
But Alaska was so very far away And Sarah was so fetching in her running shorts They did less vetting than you’d do to choose the family dog. And then, when she peed all over the carpet, they forgave her.

Wente somehow earned a BA in English from the University of Michigan (she was born in Chicago), and an MA in English from University of Toronto. Apparently she learned worse than nothing.
I think Wente is vying for my newest awarding of “Possibly the Stupidest Thing I’ve Read in North America”. I think she needs attention. Therefore let’s ignore her. Like I had to tell you.

‘But Chicago was so very far away and Barack was so buff in his swim trunks and photoshopped pecs. They squashed all vettings in order to prevent any inquiries not funded by Soros. And then, when he stole private property and crapped all over the Constitution, they wiped his butt with it threw it down the toilet with the job market. Praise be to BO!’
